The term “surf an turf” refers to any dish that includes beef and seafood combined. This expression first appeared in the 1960 on an LA renown newspaper. Even though many think this is a disgrace since these flavors should not be mixed, many (including myself) are sure that it is a matter of doing the right mix. I am not a big fan of the rib eye/lobster tail dish but in these fajitas I think they combine perfectly well.
